Research sheds light of the bio-hoodwink and challenges notions of free will

This Hidden Brain podcast, Snooki and the handbag, covers research that details how much people are influenced by others much more than they imagines (feel). It is really a good example of what I call the Bio-hoodwink! It is interesting to see how the research struggles with this apparent lack of free will, but in the end can’t bring himself to make the leap. Facing the reality that free will is an illusion is very difficult obviously, even when one has tons of evidence.

Ironically, if we really did have free will, it would be much easier to accept the reality that we don’t have free will. That is not as paradoxical as it sounds, i.e., as chapter 78 says,Straight and honest words seem inside out.
